3am Break Up Plan

Evon Dixon, Alec England, Jessie Ayers, Justin Fitts, Tanner Ridgeway, Kyle Benning

For the fourth year, we once again rocked the Varner Building hard with an awesome show!

Once again, the Battle of the Bands brought some serious talent to the stage in a show where the final scores were so close it was anyone's game. All four contestants turned in performances I (the producer) was proud to have on my stage, and I'm definately thankful I didn't have to do the judging. These four bands were so fearsome that their very presence in the show scared away two other bands (Fire on High and Up in Arms) from even showing up.

The contestants were:
  1. Breathing Can Wait: Kyle Evans, Zach Lewis, Tyler Evans, Cody Tyler, and Josh McMillan, all from Amelia
  2. Outshine: Michael Swiney, Tim Elgin, Jason Paige
  3. Shutter: Jacob Klag and Mike McGrady from Crewe, and Daniel Smith from Burkeville
  4. 3am Break Up Plan : Evon Dixon, Alec England, Jessie Ayers, Justin Fitts, Tanner Ridgeway, Kyle Benning (from Wylliesburg, Drakes Branch, Drakes Branch, Chase City, Brookneal, and Wylliesburg respectively)

Photos of the Battle of the Bands are in the 2007 Five County Fair Photo Gallery. If you have any good photos or clips, feel free to upload them!

As time allows, the volunteer mice will work on making higher-quality video available. Until then, we have a dialup-quality (which is to say, low quality) archive copy of the live webcast for your perusal. Note that this is the original, unedited webcast which, again, was encoded for dialup modem speeds and as such, you may just want to wait. :)
