Nevada County MPs said they were called to a house on Bodie Ridge Road after the suspicious vehicle, a white pickup truck, in the Nevada state shooting was registered in the name of a person who lived in the address. The deputies entered the house and discovered that the door was not locked. Then they discovered the body. âI’ve seen this pickup go out and back a few times over the past two years,â said Chris Owen.
Owen lives next door to the house.
âIt’s just completely shocking, disturbing and sad,â Owen said. “It just reminds us that tragedy, and things of that nature can happen anywhere because I really wouldn’t believe it.”
Owen says he hasn’t seen his neighbor who has lived there for days and fears the worst.
