If you’re tired of spending hours doing laundry every week, now there’s an app for it.

SudShare is an on-demand laundry cleaning, pick-up and delivery service that the company describes as “Uber for the laundry”. The Baltimore-based company just launched its app in Reno.

Users can place their laundry outside in a basket or disposable bag, and workers called “Sudsters” pick it up, bring it home, then wash, dry and fold it all before putting it back into new bags. . The company started earlier this year in just a few cities and has since grown to 400, including Reno.

Reno Startup helps finance the production of new acoustic recording devices and ideas

Sounds of birds, bats and even poachers are recorded using tiny sensors the size of a credit card, and the funding, production and distribution of these audio recorders are all organized by a Reno start-up.

GroupGets is an online shopping platform created by engineers for engineers. Think of GoFundMe for technical and electronic products. Typically the platform is used to help bring people together to meet high minimum order requirements for electronic components, but now it is helping companies fund the production of new ideas. This led to the manufacture of these audio sensors here in northern Nevada.
