Las Vegas star Darren Waller update for the game Chargers

The Las Vegas Raiders are gearing up for a massive Week 18 clash with the Los Angeles Chargers. Unless the unlikely happens, a win will take the Raiders to the playoffs while a loss sends them home. That’s why the status of star tight end Darren Waller, who hasn’t played since Thanksgiving due to a knee injury, is of the utmost importance. Raiders head coach Rick Bisaccia provided an update on Waller ahead of the massive Week 18 game against the Chargers.

The Las Vegas Raiders are hoping to reclaim star tight end Darren Waller for their crucial season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Interim coach Rich Bisaccia has said Waller will be a game time decision for the Raiders (9-7) in their Sunday night home match against the Chargers (9-7).

Raiders head coach Rick Bisaccia has revealed tight end Darren Waller will be a playing time decision for the big game against the Chargers. According to the Associated Press’s Waller update, the star’s tight end will be assessed every day to see how painful it is.

Bisaccia noted that the team will be watching their conditioning levels if Waller battles the Chargers. There could definitely be some rust, as the star hasn’t dressed since November’s win over the Dallas Cowboys. He was also affected by a setback related to COVID-19.

Waller had had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons this year. The Raiders’ odds of victory over the Chargers would increase exponentially if Darren Waller played.
