Justin Donatella took the start and was pretty solid. Donatella made five innings and allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits (including a home run), one shot, no walk and a pair of strikeouts. Keury Mella followed with two innings, with a run on a hit and a pair of steps, while striking out three. Jeremy Rhoades had a very tough outing, getting just one out, with five runs allowed on four hits and one walk, with his only out on out. Cameron Gann pitched 1.2 scoreless, scoreless innings, removing a pair, although he let his legacy runner score.
The Aces only got on board in the seventh inning, when they were already lost 3-0. Seth Beer doubled up, placed third on a wild throw and scored on a Stuart Fairchild treble to make it 3-1. The Aces scored their second point in the bottom of the ninth, when Camden Duzenack singled out, advanced to second on defensive indifference and scored on a Drew Ellis triple to make it 8-2. Unfortunately, that was it for the Aces offense
