Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson “should be fine” after injury

Half an Ohio State University TreVeyon Henderson suffered an apparent injury in the first quarter of Saturday’s game at Rutgers, but the head coach Ryan day didn’t seem overly concerned about his status during his half-time interview.

“He should be fine,” Day told the Big Ten Network line reporter. Rick pizzo as he made his way to the locker room. “He just bumped up a bit.”

Henderson scored a 44-yard touchdown on his first postponement of the game, giving the Buckeyes a 7-0 lead early on. He took a heavy blow on his eighth postponement of the game and was immediately spelled out by the junior redshirt running back Master Teague.

The former five-star prospect was escorted to the medical tent by training staff and when he emerged he did not have his helmet in hand. His day is probably over with the Buckeyes holding a 45-6 halftime lead.

Henderson, who was rushing for 71 yards at the time of the injury, has now totaled 510 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Teague, red shirt in second grade Marcus Crowley and real freshman Evan pryor will likely end the game for him.
