Son and grandson charged with killing Henderson County woman

A son and grandson have been charged with killing a Henderson County woman, according to Sheriff Lowell Griffin of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office. Paulette Clark was assaulted around 2:45 a.m. on May 6 at her home on Moe Drive in Hendersonville, Griffin said. .According to Griffin, Clark suffered severe trauma to the head and face.At the time deputies and investigators learned that Clark’s attacker was unknown, Griffin said.According to Griffin, she died as a result of her injuries at his home on May 13. Byrnside and Jones planned a robbery several days before Clark was assaulted, Griffin said. According to Griffin, Burnside used a Clark air rifle. Clark owned the Dixie Diner in Laurel Park and was well regarded in the community, Griffin said.
